Neither good or bad, i appreciated the effort of building this but Isn't working at all. Can you post a tutorial and trouble shoot?
Nice Idea, But bad implementation never worked for me... it keeps opening chatgpt tab in background and closing it, Waited for about two hours, Nothing happened seems like infinite loop.
Doesn't work. 1. it opens a blank popup, quite large and i have to scroll to enter the command 2. entering the command to summarize the video should be done automatically not manually 3. manually entering a command (e.g. "summarize the video") returns error about cloudflare 4. after several retries it no longer returns cloudflare error, BUT: - says it can't make a summary of videos - or says it can't watch videos to make transcripts - or that it doesn't know of what video to make a summary - or from what video to extract a transcript and make a summary - or it asks me to enter the transcript so it can make a summary - or it says it can't extract transcripts and wants me to enter the transcript So, it's absolutely useless. Waste of time.
I get the notification "cloudflare check required" and it tries to open a new tab with chat gpt constantly. Still, I'd love to see this work, hope you'll stay on it guys =)
Highly recommend, love it, but there is a little problem, I have to select the language first, it should auto-default to English.
I get the idea and I'm happy somebody made an automated one, but it just isn't working at all. It keeps refreshing my YouTube and then gets shut down with a "reload" button appearing. I see the summarize button for like 5 milliseconds and then it refreshes. I am on Opera GX so I don't know if it effects the way it works at all. EDIT: Still doesn't work but the dev was very nice and tried to help, I think it's a problem with Opera so I'm changing the rating.
I just came across this chrome extension that integrates ChatGPT to read the transcript of YouTube videos and let me tell you, I'm really impressed. The extension runs smoothly and I've had no issues using it. The developers did a great job of integrating ChatGPT into the extension, it reads the transcript very accurately and even adds a personal touch by providing additional insights and information about the content. I really appreciate the effort and dedication that the developers put into this project, they've created a really useful tool that enhances the YouTube viewing experience. This extension really stands out from other similar ones, because of the added value it brings. All in all, I highly recommend this extension to anyone who watches YouTube videos frequently and wants to have the transcript read to them. It's an innovative and useful tool that's well worth the try. Five stars!
My only complaint is that Chrome sometimes disables it saying "This extension has reloaded too frequently". However, this only happened 1/3 times I have thus far used it – and besides this, the extension works absolutely as described. VERY cool – how far technology has come! Proud to be the first reviewer!
