Apparently the irony of having adblocking software that uses popups to notify a need to update Chrome was lost on someone. Twice now, the "AdBlock will stop working soon if you do not update Chrome." has caused Chrome to crash on me, and being behind an aggressive corporate web proxy, updating isn't as simple as you'd imagine. Shame really, as otherwise AdBlock is an excellent extension.

HORRIBLE!!! It slowed down my computer by showing cat pictures instead of ads WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! On top of that, the person who made this extension is clearly uneducated (I looked at their blog and their spelling is ATROCIOUS)! I do not trust whoever made this extension!

I absolutely love AdBlock. If you choose to, you can donate $10 a month and you get a stand-alone version called "CatBlock". It will replace all ads with cat pictures. (A very cute and fun idea). You get more perks with a $20 a month commitment. The free version is perfect as well though. :)

If you rate this app anything less than 5 stars, then you are on crack! This app and dev are awesome. Enough said. Oh! I paid the $30. The haiku would have been better in Japanese, but worth it.
