Extensions shouldn't pull April Fools' jokes, no matter how innocent. AdBlock is one of the slowest extensions (I often get "Waiting for AdBlock Extension..." when starting Chrome for the first time). Bloating it with useless jokes doesn't help. Leave the April Fools for things that aren't critical to work.
Very funny. The April Fools joke with the cats just meant I spent some personal time trying to find and remove the virus that I thought was peppering my browsing with images of cats while hijacking my Mac. Thanks for the trouble caused.
