NOT the best add blocker. Search and use the much superior AdBlock Plus. This extension is only riding on the name and success of AdBlock Plus and the success it has had on Firefox. Find AdBlock Plus by clicking on the "Related" tab, or by simply searching for "AdBlock Plus"

Excellent. Have been using it for years, there is no other extension or program like it. I even made a donation to the author to support him to keep up the good work.
I've been using AdBlock for years, and I often forget I have it until I use someone else's computer or install a new browser.
This is amazing. It blocks ads. Does what it says. Has saved me from watching all those annoying ads before every youtube videos. THAT IS ALL. LOVE IT.
I really like it, but ever since the last YouTube update, it just makes the player not show up entirely, and you have to refresh the page until YouTube doesn't show an ad.
I'm visually-impaired and often have to zoom in to see text well-enough to read. I was reading a court case and needed valuable information that, due to my zooming in, was overlapped by an ad. So I decided to install this helpful tool. I am thankful for the work put in and I am sure my meager $10 poor college student donation is in good hands! :D
Excuse me, but why does it just hide ads and not completely get rid of them? I don't know what's more annoying, the ads, or the new empty space that takes up everything.
I'm giving it 1 star because I had high CPU usage and slow page loading on my underpowered laptop, all these problems disappeared when I removed this extension. I went with AdBlock Plus which seems to not have these problems. To me it's irrelevant if the extension work fine otherwise since I cannot use it. So, beware of CPU usage and slow loading pages, if it works fine for you then ignore this review.
One of the reasons why I like AdBlock and use it (and made a contribution to its developer) is that it seems to prevent all of those incredibly annoying ads on Facebook from showing up on my pages. JBJ
