resorting to have to download my likes, hopefully my saved videos are in there. it stopped during the ban and i cant access it now, but liked videos work just fine. also, developer if you read this, is there a way to download new likes? i restarted the progress of downloading but the number of videos havent gone up. im hoping if i go through my favorites, i can like them and have them saved if they arent already liked

What a well thought out, well-executed, and wonderful extension! It's SO easy to use, it's amazing at doing what it claims it does, and it's a lifesaver for many users who needed to save thousands and thousands of videos in a short period of time. The fact that it's free and so accessible blow my mind. Its user-friendly aspect allows even the most non-technical person to use it. You just install the extension, log into your account, pick to save your Likes or Favorites, choose the folders on your computer or external hard drive that you want to save the videos to, and that's it. The extension works its magic while you could sit back and un-relaxedly continue to get your last scrolls in on your phone. At least, that was what most users did the night before the ban. Except I'm typing this review on 1/19/25 Sunday afternoon, and the app "has been saved." Last night, I've only gotten a small part of my likes downloaded because I was putting it off. I was intimidated by the whole process, and I had regretted not starting sooner because this extension is so easy to use and painless. Luckily, the extension still works, so I am taking advantage of this second chance to complete the process. A thoughtful aspect of this extension is that it picked right up from where it left off before the app's black out had kicked in, so I won't have to deal with wasting time waiting on downloading duplicates or having to manually delete them later. Something to note is that the extension can't download picture slideshows. The videos it downloads will not have watermarks, captions, or subtitles on them (unless the creators had added their own subtitles in the original videos), so you can't use the videos to look up the names of the creators straight from the videos. It's like watching videos on "Clear display" mode. BUT worry not, another thoughtful-ahh feature of this extension is the "Archive" link in the download folders. Clicking the Archive will open up a local webpage that includes all those details (creators' handles, captions, stats, hashtags, and more)! Read the info in the "Need to know" link. The download speed is heavily based on your internet connection. The extension does claim that it works a little faster if you keep the tab open. If you put the tab in the background, Chrome/your computer will automatically slow the extension down. I'm grateful to the team that developed this extension, with the amazing speed of releasing the extension already fully functional and all the thought they'd put into it. This is the first time I've ever written a Google web store review for anything, but I just had to write one for myfaveTT because of how much I appreciate and love this extension.

I wish I would've found this a couple days earlier!!! I was able to save over 3,500 videos in just a couple hours! if we had until midnight i probably would've had waaay more! so simple, 5 stars!
