The Save to Google Drive Chrome extension helps you save web content or browser screenshots to your Google Drive.

* Adds a browser action to save the current page.

* Adds a right-click context menu to save hyperlinks and media.

* Configurable through an options page.

This extension allow you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting 'Save to Google Drive'. You can save the currently viewed page using the 'Save to Google Drive' browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension's options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma separated files to Google Docs format.

After your content is saved, the progress dialog allows you to open the file, rename, or view the file in the Google Drive document list. From the document list, you can organize and share your new document.

I wish that this extension would have a way that you can simply right click and save to Google Drive, but there is no option for that.

File size limit is SMALL. The whole point of this is not to have to download files and re-upload them. Won't even do a file that's 100megs.

Mi ha fatto impazzire tanto da disattivarla: una volta attivata interferisce con la fuzione "agiungi ai preferiti" - invece di aggiungere le pagine ai preferite (in solito modo - con bottone sulla bara, con i hot keys e dal menu) me le salvava come screenshots acquisiti in drive. Snervante! U.U Utilizzabile solo quando sai di dover salvare una scorpaciata di immagini in cloud, senza voler fare il doppio gioro del download/upload

why a 480MB is too big and does not work??? what is the limit?

Shows that it is available for Android, but it isn't. Only the Google Drive app is available. When you use the share feature in Chrome on your Android device to save to Google Drive, it only saves the url in a document.
