The Save to Google Drive Chrome extension helps you save web content or browser screenshots to your Google Drive.
* Adds a browser action to save the current page.
* Adds a right-click context menu to save hyperlinks and media.
* Configurable through an options page.
This extension allow you to save web content directly to Google Drive through a browser action or context menu. You can save documents, images, and HTML5 audio and video all by right clicking and selecting 'Save to Google Drive'. You can save the currently viewed page using the 'Save to Google Drive' browser action. The directory location and format of saved HTML pages can be controlled with the extension's options page (Choice of Entire image (default), Visible image, Raw HTML, MHTML, or Google Doc). You can automatically convert Microsoft Office files or comma separated files to Google Docs format.
After your content is saved, the progress dialog allows you to open the file, rename, or view the file in the Google Drive document list. From the document list, you can organize and share your new document.

For people complaining about the web pages being saved as PNG... you can change in the options to save it as HTML or other formats. What I would like to know if what the max file size limitation is please? I've bought 2TB of Google Drive storage and yet it seems to fail every time I request it to save any files of various sizes. Example error alert: Download failure: Source too large (4724 MB). Download failure: Source too large (137854 MB). 3 stars as the simplicity is a nice idea, but the fact it's unusable in my use case.
Apparently after Google Cloud Print services were taken away and Chrome's "Save to Google Drive" feature for its print function were taken away with it, sometime later this extension brought that feature back to Chrome. 🎉 However, when I use "Save to Google Drive" from Chrome's print function, the print preview shows all color on the page as grayscale! When the file is saved (PDF), opening it in Google drive reveals the colors as they should be. How misleading! I wasted a lot of time worrying about whether the resulting file was going to be in grayscale because of the preview. The other print options, like "Save as PDF" or "Generic Postscript Printer", show full color in their previews. It wasn't until I decided to go ahead and try printing with "Save to Google Drive" did I find that it printed correctly. It looks like a bug to me. Thanks for wasting my time, Google!
dommage de ne pas pouvoir ajouter juste un raccourcis vers un site, nous sommes encore obligé de créer un document pour copier coller le lien dedans
Funket fint helt til nå nylig. Før kunne jeg høyreklikke på et bilde i Google og lagre det i disk lett og enkelt, men nå må jeg høyre klikke, åpne bildet i ny fane, bytte fane, og lagre bilde. Hvorfor? Da er det jo raskere å "lagre som". Den sier bare "Dette er en link til en nettside" isteden for å bare lagre bilde slik den gjorde før.
Not connecting to any account. Nothing happens when I click "change destination folder" in options. Obviously without authorisation no option of save to google drive is available on right click.
Eu não consigo fazer com que essa extensão salve as coisas, pois ela não da a opção para logar na conta.

Only saves a screenshot of top half of email. If email scrolls multiple screens, it does not capture.
Doesn't work with my chosen Linux Distro, Manjaro
Bug report: Take a screenshot of example.com. You won't get an image of the entire page.
