Great extension. I use a Chromebook almost exclusively and while I love it, the Files app is somewhat slow and bloated feeling, mainly for loading things like images and PDFs, since first the Files app has to load, and then the image or PDF viewer has to load when you launch a file. This extension allows access to the same folder much quicker, while still having most of the same features as as the Files app. It also gives you the ability to have anything in the download folder that Chrome can display be loaded in Chrome versus in whatever the stock or current app associated with that file type. Some of the apps are nice but very slow, especially with PDFs and images, Chrome loads them much faster itself. The look is very basic, but it does exactly what it says and does it well. I do wish there was an option to change the toolbar icon color to something other than black since I use a black Chrome theme and the icon essentially disappears into it.
