It works good for english users. However, the extension needs improvement. One it needs the option where its either off by default as I don't need it for all videos. 2nd, it needs to be able to save the settings. Main reason why I got this extension is for one of the games I play. Every once in a while, the developer of the game does their own introduction into feature updates. When they do that on their own, I have to read the subtitles, I focus on the subtitles more than the content in the video. So basically I have to rewind the video x amount of times. Note, I know a lot of you complain that it doesn't always have the language and/or it doesn't always translate the videos. You have to remember that the extension works as long as there are subtitles in the video. Some videos don't have subtitles because the content creator has to put them in. If they don't, the translator is not guaranteed to work.

I love this. Somethings that I think would make it even better is if the translator had a few settings that the user could control. Like volume; speed would be nice & I could see that being really tricky. All in all, that works great & I love it.
It's broken, the control button is gone, so you can't change its settings. :( :( :( ---- My previous review: --- It is a very useful tool for being able to listen to videos in my native language, the language of which I do not understand. I would like to suggest a few things to the developer (feature requests): * The base speed is too fast for my language. That's why you should remember my settings to apply it to all videos. * Also add the Google TTS HU (Hungarian) language. * Add also Google, Azure or Amazon paid TTS by entering your own API key.

the icon disappeared from YouTube, I can't change the language or change any settings
not working....Tamil and hindi language is not supposed not User friendly. useless tool
