You're busy. OneNote Web Clipper lets you quickly clip all or part of a web page into OneNote and save it for later. Clip images, PDFs, videos or a visual bookmark of a page. Best of all, you can access them from any computer, tablet or phone – even when you're offline.
CLIPPING, YOUR WAY
– NO CLUTTER! Articles, recipes or products can be clipped without all of the adverts, navigation buttons and noise.
– Highlight text, adjust the fonts or add a note before you clip.
– Clip the whole page or several selections on the page. It's up to you.

Does not provide option to clip snippets. You can only screencap regions, full page, or copy the text for a full page. Sometimes I don't need the text for the full page but at the same time, I don't want a screenshot of the region either.

Works very well for me. Love the article clip! It used to just clip as a picture, but now it actually clips the text and pictures and inserts them as such (just like Evernote). OneNote is so much better than Evernote!

Just recently switched from the long time used Evernote to OneNote with this extension. Despite many previous low reviews, this extension is continuously updated and having minor bugs fixed, by the time I tried to use it (trust me, it won't take you over 5 minutes to check if it's worth or not), so you can really hope for its bright and responsive future, even much better than Evernote, since the OneNote desktop application is too good compared to Evernote. Right now that OneNote starts to cares more about the web clipping extension in Google chrome, I have no doubt to switch completely from Evernote after 4 years.

after trying it out. I choose command shift ctrl+4 on my mac rather than this complex experience.

Никогда не писал обзоры, но тут не сдержался. Очень хотел уйти от еверноут, но видимо не судьба. Продукт — полная дрянь Функций добавления заметок из браузера только две — скриншот или целая статья. Постоянные лаги в самой программе. Короче, парням из майкрософт еще работать и работать.
