You're busy. OneNote Web Clipper lets you quickly clip all or part of a web page into OneNote and save it for later. Clip images, PDFs, videos or a visual bookmark of a page. Best of all, you can access them from any computer, tablet or phone – even when you're offline.
CLIPPING, YOUR WAY
– NO CLUTTER! Articles, recipes or products can be clipped without all of the adverts, navigation buttons and noise.
– Highlight text, adjust the fonts or add a note before you clip.
– Clip the whole page or several selections on the page. It's up to you.

Updating after re-testing. 1. Still injects tracking code into every web page you view. It can't function without being allowed to do this. Other clipping tools do not do this; it's a totally unnecessary privacy intrusion, not acknowledged in the click-agreement. That is to say: clipper doesn't work AT ALL unless you give Microsoft permission to totally track all aspects of your browsing history. There is no apparent way to opt out of that and still use the clipper. Dead loss: totally unacceptable. It DOES NOT need to work that way. 2. Still very limited. Can only clip either the whole page, an arbitrary "article" section of the page (this as often as not is a meaningless subsection). 3. Clipper still often fails silently -- no error of any kind. More often than not. That could be due to the problem noted next, but how would I know if it doesn't return an error message?
A great first attempt. Works well for articles, or clipping specific images. A couple use cases could be improved: As others have said a "rich" bookmarking feature, where you clip a link to the page, and perhaps a small preview. More of an edge case (but very important to me). Doesn't currently clip "full pages" correctly if they are not in the internet. I.e. If it is an HTML being hosted on your local machine. This is currently the only way to import Evernote notes into OneNote on Mac and thus might be important for a number of users.
can't work on latest chrome
will not allow me to set location of clip. Online search indicates others have this problem.
