EDIT2: I emailed the developer about the 'silently auto following his instagram account' 'feature', and how it is sort of shady and can be considered a privacy concern. He was really receptive to my feedback, and hadn't considered that it could be a privacy concern. He pushed a new update to the extension that same day (which is now live on the chrome store) which no longer automatically follows his account. Instead, it shows you a button after removing your posts, where you can choose to follow it if you wish. A much better solution. It also appears that if you click the donate button now, it will open in a new tab, so shouldn't have the issue I had with losing the zip file of saved images if you click to donate before it is finished generating. In light of these changes, I am more than happy to edit my review score up to 5 stars. Keep up the good work Moritz! ---- EDIT: dropping this to an even lower rating because it will automatically make you follow the developer's Instagram account, without prompting/asking permission (which is super dodgy). I've reported this to the Chrome web store as it is a misrepresentation of the features and violates the individual who uses it's privacy. ---- Removed all of the unsaved posts I selected super easily! But I clicked the 'donate' button while it was still generating the zip for the downloaded images, which opened in the same tab, and therefore never saved any of them (otherwise it would have been 5 stars) Still, cleared up a huge list of saves that would have taken forever to clear manually!

A week ago before using this extension to clear out my entire library of saved posts, i unsaved a large number of posts manually. After i used this extension, two weeks later(this morning), a few of the previously unsaved posts appeared in my saved posts gallery. I dont understand if it is a glitch or something, but please look into it. It was very satisfying to unsave all of them but still, a few of the posts were left which i had to remove further. I love the extension. but please help me out here.

Was able to removed over one thousand saved post. Unfortunately unable to save the pictures but that honestly did not matter a lot to me.

Stopped working on the latest version of Chrome. Before that, it wasn't saving files. I would get the zipped folder, but no images inside.

Its a really nice extension, it worked for me fine, the only issue i have with it is that it made instagram autofollow the creator, thats not good :/
