I use Pinterest daily and only recently started having issues with the pin button. First, it was sporadic failure messages or spinning forever when I attempted to pin something from an external site (usually helped by refreshing the page, but then that ceased to be effective as well). Then the button stopped functioning completely! I was originally using on Opera, and switched back to Chrome (no improvement). However, on Chrome, you can edit the settings. I did the following: right-click on the pin extension button > select "Options" > scroll to the section "Site access" > click the option that says "On click". Now it takes me two clicks to pin something (one to enable the service, the second to use it). But it worked for me and Pinterest's permissions are effectively more restricted. Worth a try if you want to try to continue using this extension! Note that I also did the normal steps (e.g. removed the extension, cleared all cookies and history data, restarted my browser, and then added the extension again) before trying this method.

Usei a extensão durante anos e sempre foi de muita utilidade, porém nos ultimos meses foi dificil de lidar com as paradas repentinas da extensão que passou a funcionar apenas quando bem entendia, e agora apenas não funciona, o botão está cinza e não salva absolutamnete nada de lugar algum. O que era para ser prático está dando uma baita dor de cabeça porque agora preciso salvar os pins pelo próprio site do Pinterest e tendo que voltar a copiar links, e isso demora MUITO e me tira toda a vonta de salvar Pins novos e de continuar usando o Pinterest. POR FAVOR ARRUMEM ISSO

The recent issue with the button not working is: adblockers. Neither ublock or adblock work. I think this is related to a recent update to chrome's extension API. FIX: disable your adblocker for this addon to work
