Remote control for LG smart TV set.
Extension allows to control some WebOS based LG TV models. It uses generic protocol, so can be used with vary of models.
Current version supports: volume change, mute on/off, channels up/down and channels from list selection, TV set poweroff, input selection. User also can run installed on TV apps.
By clicking right mouse key on any link on any page "Open link on LG TV" menu option can be used. User can open that link directly on TV browser.
TV can be controlled using keyboard when extension popup or magic control page are open. Arrow keys (cursor keys), volume (gray "+"/"-"), home (Home), back (alt + left arrow), OK (Enter).
User can do search by channel name as well as mark channel as favorite to have it on the top of channels list.

Doesn't work
New layout is okey but the color is sth mehh. You may try some red&black&gray trio as stock :) Thx for your great work.
Great app. Worked stright away. Thank you very much for the effort.
It works. Some of the graphic Icons do not show on certain buttons. But it does read data from the TV and display it on the App as well. Such items as Channel number, station number, current program name. The 3D button on the app turns on my 3D but does not turn it off when clicked again. I agree that it would have been great if it did include keyboard support. It would make entering searches and such so much less cumbersome than the remote controller point and click keyboard method.
I need to share the mouse and keyboard. I hope the keyboard and mouse will change to control the TV when I press a shortcut.

Just one request, if possible... Allow us to change the font/size. On my Linux boxes it simply does not respect the DE font and it appears really big. BTW: THANK YOU for this extension.
Only keyboard support is need now! :)
