It's very amazing
It give a a lot of idea
I love this extension!! The pallets are amazing and I'm so glad you can "like" them to save them for later. However it would be really nice to have the actual colortab tab (with the :P face on it) towards the bottom of the screen! I open new tabs very quickly and I sometimes start to type in the URL bar before the pallet loads, and then I see some colors I like, but the search and URL suggestions come down and cover up the tab, so you have to ctrl+x the URL or search you're making if you want to click it. Also, I kind of like that clicking loads a new pallet, but SO MANY TIMES I've accidentally clicked trying to get out of my URL bar so I could like the pallet that came up, and accidentally clicked and got another one. It would be neat to have a quick refresh pallet option in a new tab, but maybe not just straight clicking? Idk I just think it could be a little more intuitive to get to the actual pallet page, so you don't accidentally click out of a pallet you like or something! And no, this app does not make your tabs different colors, AFAIK there is no chrome extension that does that, if you want rainbow tabs you're gonna have to use Firefox.
Color Hunt is indeed an inspiring service for artists and designers. Color Tab is a awesome new way to getting inspired. However, few update would make this extension a perfect one: 1. An overlay with 'most viewed websites thumbnails' and search bar. (The usual contents of the new tab page) 2. A fallback script to display some previously loaded pallets in case there is any problem with the internet connection.
My one real complaint is now I forget what I was opening the new tab to go and do, and instead see a palette and open Photoshop to mock something up "quickly" Curse you for your inevitably inspiration!
Not so cool or useful.
