I tried to use the Wildfire extension to automate some online editing of web pages with the same error but could not get the outdated Javascript function to work (just hung). So tried Browserflow as suggested by Chrome store and found that it was just what I needed. It is similar to Wildfire and Imacros, but has a very easy to use interface, more features, and makes it very easy to debug your scripts. I'm using the free version so limited to one minute of run time per use, but I can update about seven web pages in that time so using their excellent example in the tutorial, I was able to update my list of 50 pages in very short time. Looking forward to using it on future tasks!

Easy to use and very helpuf for creating automation for repetitive tasks. Took me less than two hours to finish my first automation that saves 15 minutes of my time every time I use it.

I downloaded the FREE version and started to put together the workflow. It was simple and intuitive and it worked. I immediately purchased a professional level subscription and I am enjoying it to the fullest. I wished I had for BrowserFlow a few years earlier. I would highly recommend to anyone who is doing mundane data extraction work manually from web pages... this is the era of automation and BrowserFlow is just the right solution for this era!!
