AI 产品解读Monitor and test Internet connectivity in real-time, detecting and logging outages even when the local network (Wi-Fi/Ethernet) remains connected
Users experience intermittent Internet connectivity issues where Wi-Fi/Ethernet shows as connected but Internet access is actually down. This extension detects, logs, and analyzes these outages to help diagnose ISP/router/hardware issues.
User installs extension → extension runs in background using service worker → periodically fetches ping URLs (default: google.com/favicon.ico) and api.ipify.org to test connectivity → tracks latency, online/offline status, and downtime → displays real-time status via browser action icon (changes between online/offline/issues/off states) → popup shows monitoring dashboard, event log, and statistics → user can export logs as CSV/PDF/JSON and customize settings (interval, ping URL, sounds, themes, icon styles)

No payment processing, subscription logic, feature gating, premium tiers, or upgrade prompts found in the extension source code. The 'stripe' keyword hits were Bootstrap CSS color variables (--bs-stripe does not exist, these were color definitions). The 'pro' keyword matches in locale files referred to 'protocol' and connection improvement tips, not paid pro plans. No purchase, premium, billing, paywall, or feature restriction code detected.

- The extension operates entirely locally using chrome.storage for data persistence. No login, authentication, or account creation flows exist in the source code. The extension only connects to public endpoints (api.ipify.org for IP lookup, google.com/favicon.ico for ping checks) that require no authentication. The manifest requests only 'offscreen', 'storage', and 'unlimitedStorage' permissions—no identity or authentication permissions.
Excelent extension. Very useful to mesure the performance at home. I would just suggest to add a direct button to reset the parameters
Great extension to monitor my network and gather information to send to my provider to help troubleshoot.
Installs and then the small icon disappears and there is no way to get it to reappear. I had to reinstall it and quickly right-click the icon before it disappeared in order to "pin" it. Why would you do this? What a waste of time for a dumb bug.
This is a fantastic tool. Simple, reliable, useful. Kudos to the developer.
Hello Dmitriy, I would like to know how to change the time zone, my zone here is GMT -3. Thanks and good job my friend.
This extension Gives notification only when the internet connection comes back. can I get notification for latency also, For example, If the Latency Value comes between 10ms to 70ms. I want a notification, Can I get it
Update 1/25/2024: Oops: the icon is configurable, my dumb error. I guess the update changed it, however, so I JUST SPOKE TOO SOON. Fixed, and still at 5 stars++ . Sorry for the error...Update 1/24/2024 - the new icon is just plain awful: the nice big green dot was much more discernible, and the new one is almost invisible. Plus, the adoption of the WiFi symbol is misleading/confusing in addition to being hard to spot. Please at least make the old green dot optional. Otherwise, it is still useful, but this tarnishes a gold reputation. Exactly what I was looking for - very much appreciated!
When trying to troubleshoot my internet / wifi issues, this was extremely useful. I was able to find out that the wifi was not disconnecting, although the internet was regularly dropping out. The internet connection was actually still there from the router, so this helped me determine the wireless signal strength was what was intermittently dropping out (while the wifi connection persisted). An invaluable tool in my problem solving.

Got a new PC and noticed my internet connection was dropping every few minutes for a few seconds. I wanted to check the exact frequency and this extension does just that. No complaints.
