Amazing tool! This should be the preferred extension for language learners, as it downloads and uses the existing human-vetted subtitles from HBOMax (as long as they are available), as opposed to other extensions which create their own AI translated versions of the subtitles that are riddled with errors. Thanks for this!

Not working for me, I keep getting "Fail. please make sure this subtitle shows up." when I try to download subtitles. I tried everything. EDIT: works now, you have to play with the language of the subtitles of the video and the settings which is the source.

When downloading the subtitle all the dialogue remains in one line no matter how many characters there are,like this..: 31 00:01:45,272 --> 00:01:48,358 -What do you mean she's gone? -I've looked everywhere for her. update: Major issue here!There should be an option to download the subtitles as it is! otherwise you have to edit the subs manually and if you have 250 subs it kind of sucks.So yeah I'd like an option without translation!
