I like it. Handy, clean, light. I have one wish... I wish when I opened a new tab, it didn't default to this extension. I don't want all my thoughts out there on family computer.. say, a birthday gift idea.

3 star for now. it's functional for very TEMP notes. But two issues: 1. It would be more useful if it could sync between devices. (I'm sure that is a network security nightmare; so good luck when/if it ever gets that feature. 2. Occasionally ALL my notes get 'reset'. It's probably after a Chrome update or something; but nonetheless, don't bother keeping your 'notes' in here long term. Great for quick note space. (but might get reset back to default > and lose your notes. So only very TEMP use) Guess ultimately, it's purpose is to act like Text Edit / Notepad ... basic place to ploop very basic, non-long-term quick-notes. So ... it does what it advertises. It just would be WAY more useful if it did sync. I'd personally def pay a for that feature! (secure sync) ... (maybe it can have permission to sync with a google doc or something, in regards to the 'security' aspect of it... no need to reinvent the wheel, if there's a Google Drive/Docs API option this tool could utilize to allow it 'sync' functionality.)

If you want to jot something down, sure. But if you ever want to be able to see your writing DO NOT USE. Says that it saves automatically, but if you've ever had chrome shut down on you... or had your page refreshed? ALL deleted and saved absolutely nowhere. Lost a bunch of important writing bc the page refreshed on me. To the developers, either save data somewhere (give option to) OR warn people that their writing is less safe than tracing on a foggy window.

Great extension for creative idea dumps and intermediate data processing. Unfortunately, it is not reliable for secure storage. You will lose your data with an update or browser cleanup. Make sure you save your content somewhere else so you don't lose it!
