DESCRIPTION

This extension lets you make highlights on any web page, and subsequently attempts to restore those highlights when you revisit the page.

This process is completely private. The location and contents of your highlights never leave your browser.

Really useful one. I cannot find better highlighter for chrome as far. Here is some suggestion in case if mod author still wants to update and improve this or if someone of you know how to make them come true (some ppls may have already writen about them): • Invert highlighted [Text color]; currently there's option to not change text color or to set it to fixed one. The first option will cause clarity problems with dark or bright website-background and your highlight-background. Second one will overwrite all color formating - hyperlinks may be hard to distinguish. • ability to make your own notes; maybe popup like in google docs, while adding comments? • way to store and read all highlight in custom folder [if it is at all possible for chrome extensions]; mainly for custom synchronisation. if we could force this extension to store highlights in custom folder and read data out of it, we could use 3rd party sychronization tool like google's Backup and Sync for Windows or MEGAsync to sync its data across all our devices and have all our highlight on all of them. • add support for .pdf files opened in browser; at first I thought it is impossible bc of the way that chrome extenstions are, but actually Weava for ex. can do that.

The best Highlighter ever, can you just make an option when select a text, an icon appear to quick highlight insted of right-click mouse.. this will be amazing
