If the extension causes slowness issues, especially in combination with large, preexisting highlight collections, I recommend *disabling* (not removing) the extension until an update is ready, unless you have a backup.

DESCRIPTION
This extension lets you make highlights on any web page, and subsequently attempts to restore those highlights when you revisit the page.
This process is completely private. The location and contents of your highlights never leave your browser.

Love it!
It is okay. I was expecting something that would be a it easier to do quickly... I did find it weird that the developers don't trust their save feature. From the overview: > Applied highlights should (fingers crossed) reappear when the page is reloaded.
Installed this yesterday and it was okay, until... I'm a writer and I need to highlight chunks of texts in different websites for research. Basing on the reviews, I had faith that my highlights will still be there even if I close my browser. When I opened my browser this morning, only one website (per window, I had two Chrome windows open) had highlights on. :( Now I need to read the articles again to search for the data and info I highlighted yesterday. :(
Just what I needed - nothing fancy or complicated - just needed a highlighter to highlight certain text while I read. So far, just installed it and while it took awhile to load, I can use it now and I'm happy.

awsome app, fast (by making a shortcut as explained in the FAQ section), easy to access (by clicking saved pages), missing the sync feature (but we can export & import the data to other devices)
My productivity was really improved. Thanks! BTW where are the settings? I wish I could sync highlighted text across multiple devices using some software like BTSync. Anyway, great job.
