If the extension causes slowness issues, especially in combination with large, preexisting highlight collections, I recommend *disabling* (not removing) the extension until an update is ready, unless you have a backup.

DESCRIPTION

This extension lets you make highlights on any web page, and subsequently attempts to restore those highlights when you revisit the page.

This process is completely private. The location and contents of your highlights never leave your browser.

This is a useful app however, the earlier version of this app was by far superior. I can't do all the things that I used too. I can't make notes and more. I wish this function would come back. Please, bring them back!

Perfect. The only thing I had been missing is the keyboard shortcut function, until I've read Jon Burmeister's comment: "Use the 'Keyboard shortcuts' option, located at the bottom right of Chrome's main 'Extensions' page" The extensions page can be accessed using this URL: chrome://extensions/ Scroll to the bottom, click "Keyboard Shortcuts", find "Super Simple Highlighter", set a keyboard shortcut, click "OK", done. :)

it will be great if you add one more feature which is annotate such as `simple highlighter` because sometimes we need to take a short note to remember or to gain extra time. I understand your concern about user-friendly but even if you add just this feature it keeps on simple I think this feature is vital for advanced-online searcher.

This is great. I would prefer an even "simpler" version of this, where you dont have to choose a color.

It would be really helpful to be able to use it on .pdf webpages, but so far I have not had luck with that. I know I can download pdfs and highlight in adobe, but it's nice to keep all of my research online. Otherwise, it's awesome! Great app. I had to restart my browser to get it working, so if you are having trouble try that.

I like it. I wish I could press a short cut to highlight faster. It a pain to right click all the time and select a color. Please implement this function. Please.
