HLS Downloader lets you easily download fragmented media files (with .ts file extension) from the internet.
HLS or HTTP Live Steam is a new media format developed by Apple Inc. It contains a master playlist with the ".m3u8" file extension. First, the extension downloads the master playlist, and then within the master, it finds playlist content. Each playlist has several fragmented items. All items are displayed in the UI with a download and a remove button. When you press the download button the extension downloads all fragmented media and merges them all to generate a single media file.
Note 1: the interface for the extension can be opened in a new tab or a separate window. Please right-click on the toolbar button to choose the appropriate context. Within the UI, there is a toggle button to turn the addon ON or OFF. Moreover, to switch the interface theme to dark, please press the moon icon in the bottom toolbar.
Note 2: HLS Downloader is NOT responsible for media content that you download with this add-on. We strongly recommend that you verify the related media copyright permissions on each website before downloading any media file(s).
Note 3: to download the HLS stream you gave 3 options. (1) To add a stream URL manually, please enter the desired URL with the ".m3u8" file extension in the UI. (2) As you browse the internet, this extension monitors the webpages and captures all HLS media files, and if anything is found, automatically downloads the playlist and updates the badge number accordingly (only when the addon is turned ON). The 3rd option for downloading the HLS stream is via the context-menu item. Please right-click on ".m3u8" streams and then select - Download with HLS Downloader - from the context menu.

Простенько и со вкусом, минимализм в интерфейсе нисколько не мешает. Главное, что видео качается и сохраняется, хоть и не спешно (720 Мб за 12 минут), скорее всего качает в один или два потока, в интерфейсе это не отображается, хотя видно количество скачанных частей и процент загрузки. Обрывы закачки бывают крайне редко, и скорее всего из-за обрыва интернета. Выяснить методом тыка, какая ссылка какому разрешению соответствует, не так уж и трудно. В отличие от других расширений, качает HLS-видео полностью, не обрубает несколько секунд в конце, как это делают другие расширения. Разработчикам респект.
Gostei da extensão, é um pouco lenta no quesito busca e download mais entrega o que promete. Acredito que futuramente venha melhorar, principalmente a questão de tipos e tamanhos de arquivos, mas olhando a logica da programação, vi que o ele mostra: url, tamanho do arquivo, tempo de download e botões de iniciar download e fechar o link, dessa forma da para ter uma ideia do tamanho do arquivo, teoricamente falando, sempre o número maior será o com maior resolução.

Excelente extensão para baixar vídeos, consegui baixar aulas de uma plataforma de cursos com ela, mas aparecem vários arquivos, o app da extensão te dá todas as opções de vídeo e uma de áudio, sugiro você baixar todos os arquivos, depois disso veja qual é a melhor qualidade de vídeo e usar algum programa de edição ou de formatação de vídeo para unir o áudio com o vídeo.

Works perfectly
Excelente. Consegui baixar o vídeo de uma plataforma de cursos sem muitos problemas. É díficil descobrir qual o arquivo certo mas com alguma paciência dá pra ter o arquivo salvo. Ele veio em .ts, que pode ser exibido pelo VLC, mas é só converter para outros formatos caso necessário.
! T H e 1 o N e ! Exactly as 'Ryan Michael' described... This is the ONLY extension I got to work downloading the m3u8 file I needed. When nothing else worked, and let me tell you - I tried everything... I downloaded this extension in desperation. I copied my m3u8 link into the extension, hit download, the .ts chunks were downloaded, and I was delivered with a full file that worked and opened perfectly in my media player. ! T H N X !
