Posted: 20 Aug 2025 (3/5 stars) Automatic PiP doesn't work for me, and it's annoying having to press the button to enable it. Also it lacks video controls in the PiP, there should be at least progress bar to let you move the video timestamp around and buttons could be bigger. Basically, it's way worse than the PiP feature in Firefox, which has automatic PiP and bigger buttons and progress bar and 5 sec go back/forward buttons and allows multiple PiPs! Update: 10 Nov 2025 They've improved the PiP immensely! There is now video controls and automatic PiP started working, and there's even a minimise button so you can hide it and keep it playing, because pressing close (x) would stop the playback too.
5/5, but fire the person who auto defaulted the "Automatic picture-in-picture (BETA)"

I was never into watching youtube videos in the background, but I am now.
Ubuntu 升級到 chrome 139 版本之後 Always on top 壞掉了. Always on top is broken after upgrading to Chrome 139
Use full and simple to use
Window doesn't "stay on top" with new version of Chrome on Ubuntu: Version 139.0.7258.66 (Official Build) (64-bit). EDIT: You can click the video window and type ALT+SPACE and select "Always on top" as a workaround.
Basically I can choose to off/on the PIP mode. Now the auto PIP is annoying, not every time I need the PIP. I was listening music from YT and can't work on another tab of chrome. Please fix this...
Almost there. There's just one player where it didn't work otherwise it's legit.
