Been using this extension a long time and still surprised it is working. A big thank you to the developer(s) who work on this extension. I'd be satisfied an extension that simply "presses" the skip button automatically once Youtube gives you the option, but in a world where companies nickel and dime us more and more for our money, time, and data, I have no reservations utilizing this extension until its dying breath. One thing I will note is that I normally use MS Edge and not Chrome. Tried this in Chrome and seems to be a bit buggy but really wouldn't be surprised if Google is to blame for that.

Background service worker fetches blocking rules from backend.ytadblock.com and applies declarativeNetRequest rules to block ad network requests (doubleclick.net, pagead, imasdk, etc.).
