If no skip button, the ad video's currentTime is set to its duration to fast-forward. 5. Ad-related DOM elements are hidden via display:none. 6. Background service worker fetches blocking rules from backend.ytadblock.com and applies declarativeNetRequest rules to block ad network requests (doubleclick.net, pagead, imasdk, etc.).
