I access my wallet. I have my recovery phrase, but when I enter the phrase I get "Enter a valid 12-word recovery phrase." What a rip-off Coinbase has turned out to be!!!!!!!

What a terrible idea and user experience. I already have a Coinbase account in my web browser that works perfectly fine and now I have to install an extension (that can be hacked?!) to use it?! It *also* appears now that I have to install a Coinbase app on my phone to use the extension, too?! WHY IS THIS SO COMPLICATED!!! I already have Coinbase connected in my web browser and works perfectly fine there! I am not interested in using a complicated phone app that only adds to the unnecessary complexity, nor do I want to install yet another browser extension that can be compromised in a million billion ways. That is not one but TWO additional security install considerations that you have now saddled into my environment. Everything works perfectly fine in the browser. Why fix something that was not broken? So many hoops to jump through to get something to work that already works in a web browser (for many years now)? This is why "web3" is failing.

Having used Coinbase for several years I elected to install the coinbase wallet. I have great respect for Coinbase as a general company if you will. After interacting with uniswap, okx, mex, bitget, bybit and more I had over 500 dollars between Sand box, Algo, eth and 2 or 3 others I honestly do not recall. One ugly morning I found myself essentially locked out of my coinbase wallet. I would enter passaword it would unlock/appear normal for 1.2 seconds and go black. this was a while back, so although details are hazy what I do recall is when i finally got a bit of headway it was zero'd out. my entire balance was wiped out. I went to check the okx wallet and it no longer reflected my balances as previously. Brave also would show my various coin balances when loggin into Brave. . upon contactig coinbase...oh no sir...its a self custody thing, we have nothing to do with the wallet we share a name with...nothing AT ALL.you're out of luck pal...buhbye....thank you ps just remembered also interacted with moonpay
