love it but that extra tab open is crazy
The Chrome volume control works very well and I am happy with it. I just started using it and it took a little while to figure it out because the control is unique for each tab and not being like one master control for all tabs. So I just adjust the volume then MINIMIZE THE WINDOW (⌘M on the Mac). No clutter! The reason I needed the browser to have a volume control is because I use my laptop for recording bass guitar in GarageBand. More specifically, in order to hear the bass at a decent volume in the headphones I must crank up the volume in (A) GarageBand and (B) more importantly, on the laptop. So while I am in GB and I want to listen to or play along with something else at the same time I MUST LOWER ALL ONLINE SITES so as to not go deaf. SoundCloud, YouTube and Spotify all have their own volume controls so there are no issues there. However I use the online metronome a lot (or sometimes play an audio passage in Wikipedia). So I needed the browser to be able to lower the volume for things like these. So now all audio items are covered (I think). The Chrome Volume works great for me. I would highly recommend it for anyone in a similar situation as I am in. Protect your ears! Thank you.
It works. But creates an approx 1 second time lag (on YouTube) after the video.
