This is the Web Helper extension for LanSchool. It extends the capabilities of the LanSchool Student software. This extension only works in a LanSchool classroom environment with LanSchool student software installed. If the LanSchool Student software is not connected, this extension becomes dormant.

This extension is great! I can monitor my students and actually get them to pay attention by blocking their screens. I don't see many things wrong with it, and I can kick my students off of games. LanSchool saved my teaching career.
This is an invasion of privacy. I can't even try to study about a game on my free time without being watched. If I had the ability to remove this, I would. This should be permanently removed from the google webstore forever and never brought back.

This is creepy.
In a nutshell it is basically spyware which is illegal
I literally cant work on my stuff cuz as soon as I leave the "work page" i get a blue screen and they keep putting it back on as soon as I go anywhere else. I had a research paper and I had to wait until the teacher left the classroom for a minute to be able to actually research anything because the teacher has too much control!!! I cant watch the youtube explanation videos without getting kicked off my laptop and then I dont learn everything im supposed to. This is not only an invasion of privacy but also an invasion of our actual learning.
At first, my school was occasionally checking search histories, which I guess was alright, but now THIS!? This is an example of security going too far to the point that it involves basically the use of spyware. Though I have checked and schools can technically do things like this under the Patriot Act, but at the same time it shows how much school administrators don't trust us. Everybody knows its some tech admin watching us on the other end and not your teacher...

it makes ads pop up on the screen and it only goes away when you shut off the computor.
