This is the Web Helper extension for LanSchool. It extends the capabilities of the LanSchool Student software. This extension only works in a LanSchool classroom environment with LanSchool student software installed. If the LanSchool Student software is not connected, this extension becomes dormant.

My teacher can see what I am doing on the school computer 24/7. It sucks
the app does this thing where if you close the laptop it logs you out of your account and closes all of our tabs. And you can't change this being that it disables the ability to continue where you left of. 0/10, total hogwash
Ok, so I understand the point of having this on a school laptop...but since this is now on my chrome account will it link to my other home computer? Because that really is an invasion of privacy, if so.

Incredibly creepy. If you don't trust students, don't give them technology. If they wanna do something bad they're going to find away around it or not care about the repercussions.
Couldn't remove it!
I really don't like this app, but i'm not gonna say that it infringes on my constitutional rights (it doesn't) like a butthurt 10 year old who wants to play flash games during class, the worst parts about this extension is that -It blocks all websites listed under social/personal information/anything under the sun, which makes it really hard to research for anything unless you intend on only using Wikipedia. -It also lags the computer, which is infuriating, especially when the computer is already 5 years old and runs slower than molasses.
If the school district installs this on my personal account (technically on a school computer), I'm just going to have to either complain or use Ubuntu.
