If you are logged into your personal Google Account, teachers can snoop at your private history. Not just the history on the computer the school owns, but also your phone, personal computer, and anywhere that account has logged in and accessed the internet.

In all honesty, LanSchool Web Helper isn't even as bad as most reviews will portray it as. Sure, it may be a bother, but you must still respect a school's/admin's decision for their security technique. Most kids say it's stupid, but they only say so because they don't know how to be responsible with electronic devices. I am one of the few who believes that it makes total sense to keep it. Just don't be ignorant with your device, it's that simple.

Teachers can see and monitor all of your steps. You literally have no privacy. It makes my laptop slower i hate it. now its on my personal laptop too.

No. Need a list of things wrong with this? Here. 1. Reads as malware. 2. Can jump computers if you sign in on multiple computers. 3. Collects ALL the text you type, including passwords, which, depending on your district may be made freely available. 4. Pretty much every website using SSL will throw ssl errors 50% of the time, sometimes for hours on end until it works. 5. Blocks every single extension, so no offline docs for you.

this is a program designed to allow network admins spy and peek at what you are doing which is good for school laptops, i use my own personal laptop so i believe they have no right, i am going throught the process of removing it, plus it slows the crap out of your computer
