This is the Web Helper extension for LanSchool. It extends the capabilities of the LanSchool Student software. This extension only works in a LanSchool classroom environment with LanSchool student software installed. If the LanSchool Student software is not connected, this extension becomes dormant.

Very annoying. I don't like how sketchy it is. It is basically a virus as other reviewers have said and it isn't helpful in the least. I understand the concern that teachers/schools want to have in regards to keeping on task and not doing inappropriate things on your computer, but in my case I am also at home with my device and would rather not have to go around this pesky extension on my own home wifi. I also think it's a total breach of privacy and really makes students distrust schools. Somewhat like it is to have a helicopter parent, it just makes us want to rebel and despise schools more. -> My note to schools looking at using this: Please just stick to keeping blocks on your school wifi because when students bring their devices home they're going to be annoyed or even prohibit their way of leaning. Not to mention it's technically spyware which is super sketchy and makes you think about the morals of it. Is going so low and dirty to using spyware what it takes to keep students on task?

i logged into my email account because i didn't want to go through all the garbage that was there saying do you want a new account and so i did that and now all my teachers know ALL I MEAN ALL of my information
This app is still installed on my home computer when I use my school account at home, and I have to use my school account for the coronavirus virtual school thing. The teachers and staff at school could literally be watching me type this right now.
