🧩 What it does
Sidely embeds the official ChatGPT interface (chatgpt.com) into the Chrome sidebar (side panel).
You can chat, brainstorm, summarize text, translate, or generate ideas - all without leaving the page you’re on. Unlike many tools, it works with your existing ChatGPT session, so you do not need extra accounts or third-party logins.

Sidely has completely changed the way I use ChatGPT while browsing. Instead of constantly opening new tabs and switching back and forth, I can access ChatGPT instantly from Chrome's sidebar. The extension is lightweight, fast, and incredibly easy to use. I love that it works directly with my existing ChatGPT account, so there are no extra sign-ups or complicated setups. Everything feels seamless and integrated into my normal browsing workflow. What impressed me most is the privacy-focused approach. The extension doesn't require additional accounts and keeps the experience simple and secure. Whether I'm researching, writing emails, summarizing articles, brainstorming ideas, or getting quick answers while working, Sidely saves me time and helps me stay focused. If you use ChatGPT regularly, this extension is a must-have. Highly recommended

Best tool on the market — I absolutely love it and would highly recommend it. The only feature I'd like to see added is the ability to select text directly on a webpage and instantly query GPT from that selection. For example, when I highlight a piece of text, there should be an option to open a small side panel where I can type a question or ask for more information about the selected content. The response should appear right there in the side panel, without requiring me to manually open the extension, switch windows, or copy and paste the text. This would make the workflow much smoother, faster, and more convenient, especially when researching or reading content online.
It loads my ChatGPT Plus subscription interface on the sidebar, but when I send a prompt, nothing happens.
Is the font size fixed?
I’ve tried several ChatGPT extensions, but Sidely is by far the cleanest and most reliable. No extra logins, no weird permissions — it simply connects to my existing ChatGPT session and works. The sidebar loads instantly and doesn’t slow down my browser like other tools did. Great for coding help, writing emails, or even quick research while browsing. A must-have productivity upgrade.
The sidebar is always just one click away, and it’s amazing for summarizing articles, translating quick snippets, and brainstorming ideas without switching tabs. It truly makes ChatGPT feel built into Chrome. Highly recommended if you use AI every day

Most AI extensions feel bloated or try to force you into making a new account, but Sidely is refreshingly different. It’s fast, secure, and doesn’t collect anything.
