Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!
Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.
Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///
Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.
Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

Incredible, thank you for creating this! you just saved me!
Now I can have my new tabs open to chrome://apps/ and work the way I want it to, and not how Microso... er... Google forces it to.
Took just a few seconds, works as expected.
Very useful on windows. On Mac OS there's an annoying bug: every new tab you open, the cursor is placed at the end of the url (the url is not selected) and this forces me to delete the url before starting to write a new one or a search term.
Muy útil. Lo que no entiendo es por qué no podemos configurar mediante las herramientas habituales de configuración de Chrome esta opción. Absurdo!!!

If there was an option to active auto-focus on the omnibox, i'd give it 5 Stars.
I hated it it was nothing like I expected it to be it is just a dull boring new tab page that you cant get rid of, so do yourself a favor and dont download it
It did what it was supposed to do, but it was rather slow (even for loading nothing - which is about:blank) it always shows 'redirecting'
