Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!

Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.

Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///

Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.

Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

Hallo ich verwende die erweiterung schon seit jahren (es sind schon so viele das ich schon garnicht mehr weis wie viele genau) und war auch immer zufrieden ich schreibe war weil seit dem ich auf windows 11 gewechselt bin mein ganzer browser(google chrome) einfriert vielleicht hat einer das selbe problem und hat schon eine lösung^^

Love the extension, works great! But doesnt work on the new Comet Browser. Would love to see support for that.

Careful with this extension. After using it for 2 months, I had a random new tab pop-up with a link to an AI product. This was the only extension I could point back to and after removing it I have not seen this occur again.

My org will not allow me to add brave search as default. This extension allows me to get to brave search without any clicks.

• Doesn't work with local files. Even default Chrome lets you set the startup page to a file:// • Adds considerable weight to a request, screen flickers then loses focus. • Overall design of this extension is really low effort.
