Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!
Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.
Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///
Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.
Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

De adresbar wordt niet langer volledig geselecteerd.
Why isn't the address bar highlighted now? It used to be highlighted so I can start typing right away, now I have to manually select. Please fix this problem...
It loads a new page, but unfortunately the URL is not focused and selected so you always have to select the url in there before being able to search for something. Very cumbersome.
USED to be a great extension, now not so much. Please fix this extension. There was an option which highlighted the address but now it just puts the cursor at the beginning. PC, checking the box for Always update tab, not redirect" does nothing, on or off.
Can you make it to change the color of the background. White is killing my eyes. Thanks
I've used this extension for a long time with "Always update tab, not redirect" checked so that I could start typing in the address bar right away. It used to be that the address was selected so I could just type over it, but now it's no longer selected, so when I type it just types before the address. Please fix this so it's like it was before!
The 'Always update tab' feature is no longer working on my mac, although it still works on my PC. I'm running Chrome 61. EDIT: Problem solved in Chrome 62
Very simple.
Feature no longer working "Always update tab" the first tick-box option no longer selects all text but just places curser at start of address bar. I preferred if it selected all text so i can easily type in new url
