Allows you to change the new tab page to the New Tab Redirect app page, or a custom URL of your choice!

Choose from chrome's about pages, *NewTab, Extensions, Downloads, History*, a few popular URLs, or provide your own. Your custom tab can also be a local file, allowing you to create your own new tab page. Saving blank text will cause your new tab to be about:blank.

Files can begin with: file:\\, file://, and file:///

Important: This is not meant to replace your homepage, only new tabs. If your browser is set to load the New Tab page as your homepage, there may be odd consequences.

Note: Because this extension perform a "redirect", I have no control over address bar highlighting or focus.

Works as described, but god its slow. My pc is fast and snaps to the job with everything i do, except this. Takes almost 5 seconds to open google when I start a new tab. Guess it's better than nothing.

Just what I needed! I couldn't get my session continued and have the new tab page I wanted simultaneously. I'd change a setting and I'd end up with the regular startup again. This has resolved all of the odd issues I was having!

A excellent replacement for the great feature google chrome (i still have no idea why) took off. Although it isn't a total repleca, it really server the purpose. The moment I open a new tab I can now directly click on an installed app instead of making around three clicks on chrome's stupid forced unwanted update.
