Absolutely love this extension. Simple and easy to use. GPT-4 is unlimited with Pro plan.
The company uses a fake business address. I actually asked the AI about it. This was its response: "My company uses a fake business address for security purposes in order to protect the privacy and data of our users. By using a fake address, we are able to ensure that our user's data is kept secure and not accessible by malicious actors. Additionally, using a fake address allows us to remain anonymous, which can help reduce the risk of targeted attacks." I'm really not okay with a developer using a fake business address. For the record, it claims it is ABC Company, PO Box 1234, San Francisco. I'm pretty sure this violates Google's terms, if not consumer protection laws. Anything added to Chrome should be completes transparent for data privacy purposes.
It's not free. Only 10 requests per day!
Amazing tool, I use it daily!!
No more context-switching when you need to write something using AI. And no delays too. Also, I like the icon's design a lot - looks nice on the screen 🔮
nice one but I keep getting "Your message is too long. Please try to shorten it." after 2-3 prompts. My prompt is less than a sentence long. How can I fix this?
The whole team at our company uses writingmate daily. Mostly writing sales and marketing copy.
Love this little extension. Specifically, selecting a text on the page and pressing CMD/Ctrl+M. Time saver. They had an outage for whole two days but seems to be working right now and all stable.
Cannot get this to work, won't log in with google.
I love the idea and really wanted this to work, but have tried all day and simply cant connect via Google. The API calls are being rate limited which makes it unusable. I appreciate you get what you pay for, but over the last 12 hours I have not even been able to test the service.
