I was using a similar extension but it looks like instagram's update has broken it. That extension had a progress bar as well as a full screen button and a button to change playback speed. This extension is way more streamlined and clean but adding those last two features would be great if possible.

Hi, thanks for this extension — it works perfectly! My only request would be a full-screen button. Other similar extensions have this feature, but they either no longer work or aren’t updated as frequently. With a full-screen option, it would easily be a 10/10 for me!

Finally one that works properly, and it does work with the new update. The only things I could wish for are functionality on the Stories videos, and having the position bar not be at the very bottom of the video where I have to carefully maneuver and pause the cursor into the area that enlarges it. The screenshots only show it in a Reel, and even then the position bar doesn't match the actual appearance. The way it looks in the screenshot would be easier to use. Having the total video time displayed all the time is also a nice thing; I have ADHD and forget things really quickly, so even if I hover and see it I won't remember it. There is a horizontal volume control image shown as well that doesn't seem to exist. Having the volume control lower down would be nice rather than having different controls on opposite parts of the screen. An option to default back to muted audio when scrolling down would be great. I hate playing audio on one video and scrolling through non-video posts and suddenly audio starts blaring from a video I can't even see yet because IG starts them playing when even a fraction of the video is displayed (so if I did want to see it, I'd have missed the beginning without having these controls added, forcing me to wait for it to play again, which may be their goal, to artificially bump interactions).
