This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Works fine for about a month at a time, then every so often decides to disconnect and make you sign in again
Latest update seems to have broken my desktop shortcut and now opens via the browser instead of a chrome app, is there an incoming fix for this? It worked perfectly last time I used it on Wednesday. Other than that issue i have used the app on and off for years, stopped using it because where i worked they did not allow us to use chrome remote on their network even if we where connecting to personal computers. I have since started working from home full-time again and when i am outside of my house i need to occasionally remote into my home server. I hope you resolve the issue soon :)
Cannot add the current device, extension is installed, google account logged in but no options anywhere to add the current machine! Very frustrating!!
Good effort. But what's the use? I can't connect unless I have that web page open in my browser, which means I need to be around the pc. But then I can't even share files between the devices. So what's the use?
Really wish there was an option that disabled the popup every 30 minutes. It's annoying because I was using this as a workaround for an autoclicker but i cant get around this issue.
This is not an extension, this is full blown program you have to install in your computer, very misleading.

Best application for remotely control of office PC, home PC and also android mobile.
