This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

It would have been a great app if there had been a way to run it with elevated permissions in "Remote Support" mode. With non-elevated permissions it wouldn't allow me to use something as simple as the Task Manager on my parents' laptops remotely. And going through all the steps required to set up "Remote Access" is way too inconvenient when you need to control someone else's computer. Either one side needs to share the password with another side, or they need to create a new Google account just for the purpose of remote access... Like I said, way too inconvenient. Moreover, needlessly inconvenient.
Bei mir klappt es wunderbar mit windows 10 Huawei Mate 20 Lite. Es wäre toll wenn man nicht nur mit PC Desktop sondern auch mit Phone verbinden konnte, also umgekehrt. Wie z.B. Team Viewer. Dann ist es 5 Stern wert.

wonderful experience while using this app thanks a lot.
부팅후 바로 들어가면 잘 작동 되는데 일정시간(5~10분) 정도 후에 접속하면 화면이 완전히 까맣게 변하고 반응이 없습니다. 재설치 해도 위에 같은 증상이 있어 불편을 겪고 있습니다 이건 몇년 전부터 있던 증상인데 고쳐지지가 않네요
It works with my applications much better and faster than teamviewer and is free. More responsive
好像是因为远程桌面会检查代理，有网络代理的不允许启动。然后在中国大陆是没办法直连Google服务的，所以嘿嘿嘿。凉凉。
Says "Starting..." but never starts.
Simple to install, and then it simply does not work. Period. It says "starting" for hours and nothing more... Any chances to get it working?
