This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Doesn't work anymore. For the past 2 weeks, I can't connect to any desktops anymore, from any devices except my phone (which uses the app). Connecting via remotedesktop.google.com stops working for hours on end (no matter which desktop you choose, it just sits there spinning like it's connecting, but never does), and then suddenly everything works fine for a short while before it all breaks again. When it stops working, EVERYTHING stops working, no matter where in the world, and only the Android client works. CRD used to be rock solid... And the worst part is, there's no way to send in bug reports. Google is just a wall now.
Bring back desktop version.

It's literally just a link to the Remote Desktop website, which doesn't even work on its own. The old standalone app used to work so well and now it's been forcibly replaced by this garbage?
