This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Even after updating this app on both my phone and computer, i can't connect to it no matter what. It still says one of them is using an "incompatible protocol version". This app worked super well for the longest time and now it won't even connect. PLEASE fix this, guys.
sebelumnya tidak ada masalah saya mengunakan Chrome Remote Desktop. tp setelah update dari android. namun sekarang tidak bisa digunakan.keluar notif "an incompatible protocol version was detected"
如果更新後不能連線，可以解除安裝"Chrome Remote Desktop Host"，再重新設定遠端桌 If cannot use the remote desktop after updated the chrome version, you can uninstall the "Chrome Remote Desktop Host" and re-active the remote desktop.

Если делаете кроссплатформенную систему то и обновлять надо одновременно для всех систем. Для андроид последняя обнова 20 июня а для пк 4 сентября. Конечно они будут не совместимы.
I've loved it up until the past few days. I can no longer connect to a PC from a Mac or an iPhone because it says "An incompatible protocol has been detected" and to check if I have the latest version (I do). It has also said the PC is running the older desktop app, which has been deleted and now there is only an extension. Doesn't seem to be recognized.
koszmar... ciagle nieznany blad
Used to work fine but now tells me that the PC I'm trying to connect to is running an old version of Chrome Remote Desktop, which it isn't. Have tried uninstalling and re-adding to Chrome several times but no change.
不能用啊~~
