Absolute trash. The standalone app worked perfectly for me for the past year, now I'm forced to "upgrade" to the latest version which has significantly inferior quality and is about as fast as molasses running uphill in January. Constantly being kicked off and having to restart the service on my machine I'm remoting into has made it impossible to rely on this for work. Thanks for screwing me over!

This updated browser based extension is awful. The previous version of Chrome Remote Desktop was excellent; it worked from my phone, laptop, etc. and I relied on it all of the time. This new version won't even connect for me. It's horrible. You really wonder if they test this stuff out before pushing it on the rest of us and requiring us to move on from the previous version? I hope this gets fixed soon, because right now, it's completely unusable.

I had the old app and it worked great now cant stay logged on to the remote computer for more than 30 mins have to keep saying continue, screen picture is not as good as the other so many things wrong with this app bring back the old one

mouse tracking/translation to remote machine in these recent builds is unusable. cursor tracking is offset by hundreds of pixels.

I was using the old Google Remote Desktop app until it prompted me that the old app is not anymore supported and that I have to upgrade to the latest version now. This browser based remote connection now is really slow and lagging (i have 930mbps). So yeah, i hope we still get to use this remote connection local app but not this browser based. Yes you added features that we dont really need, what most of the users need (i think) is the connection speed. You added feature and now its counter-productive. Remember: Don't fix if its not broken.

Couldn`t agree more with the latest reviews. The local app was far better than this web app that we were forced to use instead. Holpfully they are going to bring it back.
