Old version was stable, fast, responsive, reliable and visual quality was very good. This "new" web version has none of those qualities. Most of the optional toggles such as "resize desktop to fit" do absolutely NOTHING. Dual monitor support is somehow much worse than before. I have no idea why they dropped support before making sure this "new" extension actually worked half decent.

So with the new and improved version, you have to have somebody sitting in front of the remoted system, verifying that it's okay to access your computer every 30 minutes. So much for real remote desktopping for free. Back to professional products - this one is for amateurs.

It does not work on HP Chromebook 11 (daisy_spring). I guess there is a problem with ARM version of the remote desktop APP(?). And another show-stopper is that I can't give persistent remote access to another Google account and/or actively ask for remote access to another computer. I can imagine that the current remote support function is build with privacy protection in mind but I can't imagine how would we do it every time when my 70-years old mother would need some quick hint.

The new 'in browser' version doesn't work. The stand alone app never gave issue. Edit-OK this *can* work when you disable all ad block and RTC leak protection. Not a fan...

It works, but honestly feels worse than the Chrome app version. I've been using CRD for years, but this update seems more like a downgrade. The options don't update (shrink to fit, resize) in real time, and the quality overall looks much poorer. For reference, I'm primarily using a PC with a 4K resolution and remoting into a 5K iMac. The previous versions looked much better, even given the fact I was remoting in from halfway across the world. I'm testing and writing this review with them side by side, so there shouldn't be near as much quality degradation.
