This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Esta propuesta Web ha empeorado en el sentido de que ahora se debe tener Chrome abierto todo el tiempo mientras se da asistencia a una computadora, si se cierra se pierde la conexion. En la version App es posible cerrar Chrome y seguir trabajando. Para el caso de estar dando asistencia a una pc es necesario que del otro lado haya un usuario pendiente ya que al tiempo de estar trabajando pregunta en la maquina remota si se desea continuar, si no hay alguien pendiente de ese cartel tambien perdes la conexion. Esta pendiente poder agregar o invitar computadoras de otros usuarios de google en la lista Mis Computadoras, esto seria muy util cuando tenemos que administrar maquinas de la familia o el trabajo de otros integrantes.

The app says its starting in chrome. The Windows Service starts but the app never realizes it and I am unable to ever connect. Please fix this app. Windows 7.

Works great! If you have Autoplay stopper make sure to allow the chrome remote desktop connection to autoplay! Otherwise it will be a frozen screen
