This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Bom demais!
Having tried many of these remote access programs I am impressed on how easy this is to set up and get running. It also appears very secure. It does seem to lack a few high end functions found in the microsoft product but has not really caused many issues for me. The cross platform capabilities are wonderful.
Their support is non-existent. I cannot install this app at all, keep getting errors. Doesn't even deserve 1 star

It does what it says on the box HOWEVER, it requires you to install a piece of software, which might not always be an option. I wish the extension itself allowed you to connect to the device without requiring an installation.
I enjoy using this extension. It has allowed me to connect to different computers of mine where I can take to things I cannot on another computer because I am not on the same network. I am having a problem. I was having an issue opening the app on the taskbar. I wen to manage extension and the Google Remote Desktop said, "This item is inactive" I uninstalled it and reinstalled but nothing changed. I can remote into other computers of mine except one because it will not install the software to allow remote access. Again, it said the extension is inactive, I enable it, but if I refresh it, it says, "This item is inactive". Not sure why. I would give it 5 stars if it worked like it did a few days ago.
The feature set is too limited. It is only useful in the simplest and most ideal of circumstances.
