This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.

Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.

Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Used to be great, audio no longer works and sounds like a robot, I use a headset for audio so that solution doesn't work and the desktop version is now imaginary, fix it and ill change my review.

舊版本一連就上，今天更新APP新版之後無限轉圈圈根本無法使用，手機移除清APP暫存後重裝、移除遠端電腦後再新增；電腦端移除後重裝，仍舊無限連不上，請要更新版本之前務必先進行完善測試，而不是急著推出一個惹人生氣無法使用的東西，play store上面大量針對新版的負評，貴團隊難道都不知曉?還是 play store的評價機制就是一個雞肋?

A Teamwiever elkezdet vacakolni ezért váltottam erre az alkalmazásra és nagyon jól használható. Egyetlen hátránya hogy a használatához Google fiókba kell bejelentkezni mind a vezérlő, mind a vezérelt gépen. Ha működne Google fiók nélkül is akkor 5 csillagos lenne.

This used to work really well for years, and then it stopped working. I realised it was because of the beta version where they switched to a web-based interface. So I uninstalled that and went back to the old version and it all worked great again. But now, they forced the web version onto everyone, and now I can't even log in anymore. I get to the PIN input stage and then I am stuck in "Connecting..." for hours. It does not work any more, and they forced everyone to move over to the not working version. I had over 13 computers running from this and now it doesn't work at all. How disappointing. I waited a number of months before making this review to see if they would fix it and they haven't.

Worked fine for a few days then lagged a lot after a while. PC's fine, cpu less than 50% and ram at around 50-60% which was the same when I first used it. Nothing actually changed and it simply started lagging a lot on the app on my phone. Tried reinstalling the extension now to see if there will be any improvement.
