This is the companion extension for the Chrome Remote Desktop website (https://remotedesktop.google.com). This extension enables you to install, view, and modify the Chrome Remote Desktop native client from the web UI.
Chrome Remote Desktop allows users to remotely access another computer through Chrome browser or a Chromebook. Computers can be made available on an short-term basis for scenarios such as ad hoc remote support, or on a more long-term basis for remote access to your applications and files. All connections are fully secured.
Chrome Remote Desktop is fully cross-platform. Provide remote assistance to Windows, Mac and Linux users, or access your Windows and Mac desktops at any time, all from the Chrome browser on virtually any device, including Chromebooks.

Fails to install on my Mac after a fresh install.
I used to love this extension! But now....eh. Why does the audio from my pc to my iPhone only work now if I'm using a Bluetooth speaker or ear buds etc? It wasn't always this way ! I've been trying to figure it out on my own now for months and finally gave up.

It suddenly stopped working, so I removed the extension and tried to reinstall it but when I clicked on the installer, all it did was close on me after a brief moment of showing the installation window. I thought it was simply a quick installation. Turns out it simply did nothing... Turning off firewall did not help either. If anyone has a solution, help would be much appreciated.

I was trying to access my system remotely its working very well when monitor is on whereas the difficulty arises when the monitor is switched off - not able to access the applications and the movement is only on the cursor, need your help with related to the above issue.

im currently using this between my desktop thats on WiFi and my phone thats on 5G and its working well between both!!! So excited!!!!
it stopped working and now i cant use it nor can i get it again cuz my device is too *OUT DATED* which is a bunch of lies.
I loved remote desktop until the most recent update, it now no longer shows both monitors and that is a MASSIVE problem for people like me who relied on it for work, people saying it has never supported two monitors is a liar or stupid. I need access to both of my monitors when I am away from my computer, and Google Chrome Remote Desktop is now impeding my work. This program is absolute trash now, and you will be better finding other alternatives. Even if every other alternative costs in excess of $200 I would NEVER return to Chrome Remote Desktop.
