YOU NEED TO REFRESH THE PAGE/TAB. YES IT WORKS ON HTTPS. Some people expect this to work without even refreshing the page, or your browser in some cases If it looks 'greyed' out then refresh. This is really fantastic tool to get not just font, but size, line height etc. also very nice looking overlay. well done!

I love this extension. The one problem with it is that when I first bought it, it wouldn't work. There were five options to choose and none of them led to the actual product. The only place it would work was the developers site. I searched the comments and found that if you reload your browser it started working. So I closed all my tabs and browser and then opened them again and it worked. :)
Great help for a graphic/web designer. :)
